Newgen Gaming is raising strategic investments from nCore Games

India: Newgen Gaming, which participates in the eSports market through its subsidiary Penta Esports, has received a strategic investment of $1 million from nCore Games. This is the inaugural charity event for Newgen Gaming.

Industry veterans Anurag Khurana, Kiran Noojibail, Akshay Paul, and Krishanu Ghosal launched the business in 2021. Penta Esports, its esports brand, has vertical specializations in leagues, competitions, and content. The brand offers opportunities for eSports athletes across games and platforms, with an emphasis on India's grassroots eSports ecosystem.

Since its establishment, Penta Esports has introduced its grassroots-focused leagues known as the Penta Amateur League and the Penta Collegiate League for colleges and universities. These leagues compete in events like the Penta Invitational, the Penta Cup, and the Penta Challenge. The top teams in each area competed in the Penta Pro Series, the company's newest IP and the official event of the Valorous Off Season. The firm also has a number of content intellectual property rights and wants to release more.

The money invested will be put to use expanding the company's personnel and operations throughout MENA and South Asia, as well as quickening the expansion of its product offerings.

The largest mobile gaming and interactive firm in India, nCore Games also invests in Studio nCore, IceSpice, and Dot9 Games. Animoca Brands and Galaxy Interactive are two significant investors. To take advantage of the robust and unrivalled mobile gaming experience and the strong development in the area, the investors have supported the firm as their first investment in the Indian subcontinent.

With this investment, nCore Games will have access to a large community of esports participants and spectators as well as distinctive intellectual property (IP) assets including Esports in 5, 1v1, Koffee and Kiran, and more. With this cash infusion, Penta Esports will be able to take advantage of its rapid development and momentum.
